Sam Castro is a lifelong activist, defender of the environment and mother of 3 children. She works for Friends of the Earth Australia which was recently been declared an "extremist organization" for its campaigns against coal and uranium mining companies. Sam tells us what changes pushed her to find time in a full and busy life to become involved with Occupy Melbourne and supporting Wikileaks. She also reflects on the revolutionary changes to the face of activism globally and the power shif occuring with the tools of social networking and Internet information creating novel coallitions around the need for political transparency and reform.
