Jonathan [ Jon ] Cowden involved in Hacktivist Campaign #opFreePalestine against Israel was sentenced to 15 Months in jail. The hacking charge against Jon Cowden resulted from a series of computer intrusions executed between November 2011 and January 2012. Cowden’s attacks typically looked for vulnerabilities in websites that he could exploit, which allowed him to gain unauthorized access to data and information.
Jonathan [ Jon ] Cowden was incarcerated for 13 months and 2 days. Due to the terms of his release, he is having great difficulties locating employment. What is equally as disturbing is the $22,000.00 in restitution that Jon is required to pay to Israel.
